Website Accessibility

This website has been built with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as its design target. Accessibility is treated as ongoing work rather than a finished task, and we welcome being told where we fall short.

• A “Skip to content” link so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
• Full keyboard operation of menus, the homepage carousel, filters and the photo viewer.
• Visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
• Semantic headings and landmarks, with a single main heading per page.
• Descriptive alternative text for photographs of the property.
• Colour combinations chosen for readable contrast.
• Touch targets sized for comfortable use on phones.
• Form labels, clear error messages and status messages announced to screen readers.
• Respect for the “reduce motion” setting in your operating system: animation, the carousel's automatic movement and the scrolling review rail are all stilled.

The Google Maps embed on our contact page is provided by a third party, and we cannot control its accessibility. It is loaded only with your permission, and we always provide the hotel's full address and telephone number in plain text alongside it so the map is never the only way to get the information.

This statement covers the website. For questions about physical access to the building, rooms or facilities, please call the hotel on +1 (204) 768-6843 — staff will describe the property honestly so you can decide whether it suits your needs.

If something on this website is difficult or impossible to use, please contact us on +1 (204) 768-6843 or at moosehornhotel.mb@gmail.com. Tell us the page and what happened, and we will try to fix it and to give you the information you needed another way in the meantime.
