Legal
Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This policy should be reviewed by a qualified legal adviser and updated whenever a new third-party service is added to the website.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in much the same way. We group them into four categories, and nothing outside the necessary category is used until you allow it.
Necessary
Always active. These keep the website working and secure: remembering your privacy choice, protecting our forms against abuse and cross-site request forgery, and maintaining basic session behaviour. They cannot be switched off, because the site would not function correctly without them.
Functional
Optional. These remember preferences and enable extra features you ask for — most notably loading the Google Maps embed on our contact page. If you do not allow this category, the map is replaced with a button and a link to open Google Maps in a new tab instead.
Analytics
Optional. These would help us understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful so we can improve the site. No analytics technology runs before you consent to this category.
Marketing
Optional. These would be used for advertising or measuring campaigns. We do not currently run marketing technologies on this website, and none will be used unless you consent to this category.
Third-party embedded content
The Google Maps embed on our contact page is provided by Google and may set its own cookies and receive your IP address once loaded. Because of that, it is treated as optional and only loaded with your permission. Links to our Facebook page open on Facebook's own website, where Facebook's cookies and policies apply.
How your consent is stored
Your choice is stored in your own browser along with the version of the notice you responded to and the date you made the choice. This lets us respect your decision without asking again on every visit, and lets us ask again if the notice materially changes. Clearing your browser's site data removes the record, and you will be asked again.
How long cookies last
Session cookies are removed when you close your browser. The consent record persists so your preference is remembered on your next visit. Cookies set by third-party services such as Google Maps are governed by that provider's own retention periods.
Changing your consent
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time. Use the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of every page, or the button below. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect how parts of the site work.
