Privacy Policy

Moosehorn Motor Hotel operates this website. Our contact details are MB-6, Moosehorn, MB R0C 2E0, Canada, telephone +1 (204) 768-6843, email moosehornhotel.mb@gmail.com. If you have a question about privacy, use any of these.

We collect only what we need in order to respond to you and to keep the site working:

• Availability and contact requests: your name, email address, telephone number (if provided), preferred check-in and check-out dates, number of adults and children, preferred room type and your message.
• Consent records: your cookie choices, the version of the notice you responded to and the date of your choice, stored in your own browser.
• Technical information: standard server and device information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, used for security, spam prevention and basic reliability.

We do not ask for and do not want payment card details through this website. Please never send card numbers by email or through the form.

• To answer your availability request or enquiry.
• To contact you about a stay you have asked about.
• To keep the website secure and to prevent spam and abuse.
• To meet legal or record-keeping obligations that apply to us.

Submitting a form is a request only. A reservation is not confirmed until the hotel confirms it with you directly.

Essential technologies keep the site working and remember your privacy choice. Optional functional, analytics or marketing technologies are only used if you permit them. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer. Full detail is in our Cookie Policy.

Our contact page can display a Google Maps embed so you can find us. The map is not loaded until you allow it, because loading it may set cookies and share your IP address with Google. Our site also links to our Facebook page. Once you follow a link to an external service, that service's own privacy policy applies.

If analytics are enabled in future, they will only run after you consent to the analytics category, and they will be used to understand general site usage — not to identify you personally.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with service providers who help us operate the website and communications (for example website hosting and email), and only to the extent needed to provide that service. We may disclose information where required by law.

We keep enquiry and availability request information only for as long as needed to respond, to complete a related stay and to satisfy legal or accounting requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Information submitted through this site is transmitted over an encrypted connection. Access is limited to those who need it to respond to you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

In Canada, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial legislation give you rights over your personal information, including the right to access the information we hold about you, to ask for corrections and to withdraw consent. To make a request, contact us at moosehornhotel.mb@gmail.com or +1 (204) 768-6843. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

This website is intended for adults arranging travel and accommodation. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through this site, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
